I have been leading and accompanying projects to reduce business travel since 2016. I am experienced in setting up and implement a flight reduction project within one organisation (ETH Zurich) and have also advised several universities and research institutions in Germany (FlyingLess) and beyond on the topic. I have set up processes within and across organisations and worked closely with stakeholders, co-designed and implemented a monitoring system to measure emissions, and developed training workshops, information materials such as factsheets and a toolbox that can be adapted for other organisations as well. This has also resulted in a scientific publication (https://www.nature.com/articles/s44168-023-00069-y), which shows the process and possible measures to reduce air travel emissions. For the NGO Climate Accelerator I developed a toolkit to help aid organisations to reduce their business travel on their way to climate neutrality.
