Care Farming

Cooperation in the transdisciplinary projekt

«Care Farming for the elderly»

Roadmap for support and care in social farming

Care farming as a social service on farms has existed in Switzerland for decades, especially for children and young people with cognitive and mental impairments.

For the elderly, there are only a few pioneering farms in Switzerland that combine agricultural production with care and support.

The project is led by Irene Bischofsberger at the Transdisciplinary Lab of ETH Zurich. It is developing conceptual foundations and a roadmap for care farming for practice, research and authorities.

A central component of the project is a transdisciplinary workshop with various stakeholders.

My role in the project includes supporting this workshop, two publications and the preparation of the final report.
